Meet Ulana
Ulana’s approach is collaborative, child centered, and structured around her belief that every child can learn. Because of her experience working with diverse learnings in therapeutic settings, Ulana has worked alongside nationally recognized speech language pathologists, pediatric neuropsychologists, and developmental specialists. Ulana has co-taught and collaborated with related service providers throughout her career, making her approach uniquely valuable and deeply integrative. She has the ability to incorporate her vast knowledge base of therapeutic domains into her practice and weave elements of these domains into her approach. Ulana is a relationship based practitioner, developing what she sees as life long connections with her students and families.
Ulana provides tutoring services to a range of children, using both an evidence based and intuitive approach to her practice, merging motor, sensory, social-emotional, executive functioning, and academic needs into her work. She is trained in Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Fundations, Social Thinking, SRSD, the Hochman Method, and Handwriting Without Tears. Ulana works with students with varying needs, from language based learning disabilities, severe and multiple disabilities, rare genetic disorders, and social emotional and behavioral challenges.
