Meet Ulana

Real classroom experience, not just a certification.

With a dual master’s degree from NYU in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education, Ulana has spent over a decade teaching children in classrooms alongside nationally respected speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and Individualized Education Program teams. She understands how a lesson lands, whether there are twenty-five kids in the room or just one.

How sessions work

Every learning plan is customized for every child

We start with how your child thinks

Every plan begins by understanding the unique learner in front of us: how they take in language, what a hard day looks like, and what they’re already good at. Reports and evaluations are welcome. So is the story only a parent can tell.

We use methods with evidence behind them

We draw upon Orton-Gillingham, the Wilson programs, the Hochman Method, SRSD, and Social Thinking to develop a plan based on your child's evaluation and the skill we're targeting.

We work with your child's whole team

When your child has other specialists, like speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, classroom teachers, and neuropsychologists, we collaborate with them directly.

From a collaborator
Ulana is an incredible educator and collaborator. Her experience far exceeds just teaching. She is personable, intuitive, fun, engaging and really sees children's individual needs. She teaches to the child, adapting as needed to provide that just-right challenge. She has collaborated with a plethora of disciplines, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, school counselors, and physical therapists, which only amplifies her vast knowledge. I couldn't recommend Ulana more!
